Achievements
The Board has been working persistently to strengthen marketing activities in Arunachal Pradesh. The Marketing Board has been actively involved in implementing several schemes which have significantly benefitted the farmers of the state.

Export in International Market
The long-term objective of the Board is focused on promotion and marketing of high value agriculture and horticulture products for international market. The Board has even launched Organic Orange from a Middle Eastern Country.
Development of Organic Farming Sector
The rapidly changing global environment has necessitated the Board to incorporate several changes to function in accordance to global trends. During the past few years, the Board expanded its area of operation to organic farming. It has been designated as State Lead Agency for implementation of Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCD-NER) scheme in Arunachal Pradesh. Under MOVCD-NER, Lower Subansiri became the first district in the country to obtain organic certification of the Kiwi crop.


Creation of Marketing Infrastructure
APAMB has undertaken various measures to boost agriculture marketing in the state. It has created facilitating centres in the form of regulated markets, encouraging co-operative marketing, creation of supporting infrastructure like cold storage, warehouses, construction of link roads and marketing extension to establishment of numerous FPOs/FPCs. APAMB has been a catalyst in the growth of agriculture & allied sectors.
Mission Krishi Veer
It is a flagship programme aiming to deliver organic fruits and vegetables to the personnel of the Indian Army posted in the Kameng sector (comprising Tawang, West Kameng and some regions of East Kameng district). This initiative plays a crucial role in strengthening the bond between the indigenous tribal cultivators and the soldiers deployed at the borders; thereby fostering trust and harmony while decreasing post-production and logistical losses by raising the farmers’ incomes.


Promotion of Agriculture & Allied Sector Products in National Market
The Board aims at promoting and marketing the state’s agriculture & allied sector produces at a national level, under its medium term mission. Being the largest producer of kiwi in the country, the Marketing Board has also launched Organic Kiwi at New Delhi.
Formation of Farmers Producers Company & Farmers Producers Organisations
The Marketing Board is the State Lead Agency for implementation of Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCD-NER) scheme. Under this scheme 46 nos. of FPCs/FPOs are formed in various districts of the state.


Arunachal Tea Festival
The Arunachal Tea Festival was organised to bring together tea growers, promoters, and enthusiasts from across the state and region. It was aimed to celebrate the legacy of tea cultivation of the state and to provide a platform for tea cultivators to exchange ideas with each other and learn ways to improve their products.
